Our three competitive TeaMS enhance a dancer’s strengths while building their technique, confidence, performance quality, and team attitude. The Industry Company is geared towards the serious aspiring dancer, striving to achieve a professional career in dance. Our Movement Company aims to provide artistic movement paired with musicality, precision, and performance. And for our youngest movers, Mini Company connects dancers to inspiring instructors, building a functional foundation for budding little artists! We also offer recreational classes to help students stay fit while having fun, leading up to the Annual Revue in June each season. In addition, we perform through the DC metropolitan area at a variety of festivals, productions, and school events. COMPANY AUDITIONS
Dancers should arrive in advance to sign in, take a head shot, and stretch. A final audition schedule will be sent out the week of auditions. For our Industry and Movement Companies dancers must audition in contemporary, jazz, and hip-hop, and may choose to audition in tap between 1-7 pm. Dancers auditioning for our Mini Company will audition in jazz and lyrical, and may choose to audition in tap between 1-2:30 pm. Students will learn a combination in person in each style and perform for a panel of judges.
Dancers who cannot make the audition in person can submit a Virtual Audition Form and Video. The Virtual Audition deadline is July 20. Please contact nicole@TMSdance.com for more info.
Results will be emailed by the evening of July 22. More information about the summer rehearsal schedule will be available in our FAQ video that's coming soon.
